“Lazy journalist”, “burger eater”, “a*&%£$!e” – all various testimonials to who I am and what I do.

Why Swindon?
“I fell into it. My dad took me to my first game in 94 when we arrived from Shropshire, the next season we won the league and I was hooked.”

Favourite Swindon moment?
“Covering my boyhood club at Wembley. (Coincidentally, my least favourite moment also.) Two weeks in Italy with PDC was also a highlight. ”

Why are you involved with the trust?
“I believe in the Trust’s role as a safeguard of the club and in their commitment to inspiring young people in the region during an era dominated by TV football and Premier League megabucks. Fans will always have the club’s future and continued prosperity in mind and groups such as the Trust are important guardians.”

What is your role?
“PR, communications and Trust website manager. Basically, I have to tell you what’s going on. You can continue to hound me on Twitter if you so choose.”

How would you like to see the Red Army Fund being used?
“For the continued development of the club – this could mean different things at different times, from funding loans to improving the County Ground infrastructure and helping out the academy and FITC. ”

Ultimately, what would you like the Trust to achieve?
“Ultimately, with the correct backers, ownership of the club. Until then – unite fans, inspire kids, keep the owners in check and provide a safeguard against those whose interests in our club are a little ambiguous. “
