Trust Officer & Historian

Once a Director, always a Fan.

Why Swindon?
Swindon because I was born and bred here and got into football by going to get a Football Pink for my next door neighbour.”

Favourite Swindon moment?
My favourite Swindon moment was Don Rogers going round Bob Wilson at Wembley to clinch victory against Arsenal.”

Why are you involved with the trust?
“Mike Welsh recruited me to the Trust but I believe Supporters Trusts are the only way of preventing football clubs become big boys toys which can be thrown away and discarded by next Christmas.”

What is your role?
“I am looking after the Moonraker Museum Project which we hope to launch next year.”

How would you like to see the Red Army Fund being used?
“I think Red Army Fund should be used for long term projects.”

Ultimately, what would you like the Trust to achieve?

“Eventually would like to see the Trust owning the ground to prevent it being sold of as a pawn in a development deal as has happened to clubs like Brighton..”
